Chicago
My sister-in-law, Julie, just got married, and we went to Chicago for the wedding. We stayed a few extra days to make a vacation out of it before John started residency. We took the Amtrak train.
We went to the Lincoln Park Zoo with John's sister, brother-in-law, and niece & nephew.

The next day we went to Navy Pier.
At the Chicago Children's Museum, Keaton got to "drive" a fire truck and play in lots of water. He still talks about the "big big boat" that took us on a tour of the bay, and then we ate lunch by the water.
Before we got on the train to come home, John had to go up into the Sear's Tower. I stayed on the ground! :)
